Can I use a third-party charger on a Ride1Up battery?
Only if the connector, voltage class, and amperage all match your specific battery. A charger that plugs in but is built for a different voltage class can damage the battery or create a fire risk. Check the exact model above before using anything other than the original charger.
What voltage is a Ride1Up battery?
Current Ride1Up models, including the Core-5 and 700 Series, use a 48V nominal battery pack. Note the offset-pin Higo Z connector — it looks similar to other brands’ connectors but is keyed differently. Always confirm against the label on your specific battery, since older models can differ.
